If You Are an Employer, read this
When you have got good people working for you, you want to look after them. Not only will you increase employee loyalty and productivity, but you will also reduce staff turnover and find it easier to attract good talent in the future.The current economic crisis has left many people (mostly employees) feeling vulnerable simply for being unprepared to deal with the financial crisis.
Households have continued to struggle financially which means that your employees may be stressed regardless of how ‘professionally’ they act when you see them at work.

- Financial stress has been linked to a host of health-related illnesses and problems and is the leading cause of certain unhealthy behaviours that affect the workplace negatively like absenteeism, sexual harassment, alcoholism, and drug abuse;
- The true problem with employees’ financial difficulties is a widespread lack of basic understanding of financial principles and the resultant poor choices and not just the current economic situation;
- More than half of all employees want to make their own financial decisions but are looking to have someone validate that decision. Thus employees want access to financial wellness benefit;
- Many employees may be physically “at work,” but because of financial stressors, can easily be distracted and not perform efficiently or effectively.
